Tony: Tony, aged 66, and now retired, remembers having asthma attacks as a child of five or six, especially at night, and unable to lay down. But this was just normal for him. After university he worked as a geologist in remote areas and found the lack of flowers and trees helped with his asthma. On return to Sydney his asthma got worse and the steroids prescribed affected his bones and the ability to have more children. Inhaled preventer medicines have been a lifesaver for him.
