Joel: Joel, aged 35, was diagnosed with asthma around age 13, and severe asthma about 3 years ago. He is single, not working and lives with his parents. He finds it frustrating as you can’t tell what the next day will hold. Its also difficult to establish routines. He also finds people don’t really understand asthma. Joel would like to see a better link between specialist, GP and researcher so that there is a logical flow from diagnosis through treatment and then research.
