Diana: Diana, aged 66, is married with one adult child and a retired beef farmer. Diana recalls that her young parents had to relocate because of her asthma. As a child she was sick all the time, had so many injections she felt like a pin cushion and missed a lot of school. She is upset that people think all asthma is the same, and easily fixed with medication, which decreases the legitimacy of severe asthma. She would like healthcare providers to tell patients more.
